·                Julia’s Tues B1 Lambs & B5 Sheppies and B4X Polichinelles w/ Mother Ginger arrive at 6:45.  We will run these pieces before the full run of the Saturday cast.

·                Sat. cast B3 Soldier Dolls (Ms. Lisa’s) arrive at 6:45

·                All Saturday Battle scene arrive at 7:10

·                Ballet 1 Snow Princess from 7:20 – 7:45

·                Debbie & Ann’s B2 Jesters 7:50 – 8:15

**Please note that we will do our very best to stay on schedule, but the nature of these rehearsals can be unpredictable.  Please be patient.

 

PERFORMANCES

 

Friday December 6 – School Performance (Saturday Cast. No Jesters B2 Angels, or Bees) / Curtain 10am

* Ballet levels 1, 3, 4/4X and Bon Bons must arrive at the theater at least 30 minutes prior to curtain time (9:30am)

*Levels 5 and up must arrive at the theater at least 1 hour prior to curtain time (9am)

**Ballet 6 and Under will be done at 11:30. The following dancers will greet school children in lobby as they exit the theater: Snow Queen, Clara, Fritz, Sugar Plum plus All school show Chinese, Arabian, Spanish and Russian.

 

Friday December 6– Performance / Curtain 7:00pm

*Pre Ballets should arrive at show time to sit in audience with their families. They should be brought to the dressing room at the start of intermission to get into costume.

*Levels 1 - 5 must arrive at the theater at least 30 minutes prior to curtain time (6:30pm)

*Levels 5X and up must arrive at the theater at least 1.5 hours prior to curtain time (5:30pm). Warm-up class at 5:40. All Finale dancers stay after warm up to rehearse with Sugar Plum couple.

 

Saturday December 7 – Performance / Curtain 1:30pm

*Pre Ballets should arrive at show time to sit in audience with their families. They should be brought to the dressing room at the start of intermission to get into costume.

*Levels 1 - 5 must arrive at the theater at least 30 minutes prior to curtain time (1:00pm)

*Levels 5X and up must arrive at the theater at least 1.25 hour prior to curtain time (12:15pm). Warm-up class at 12:30.

 

**Note:  Saturday morning December 7 there will be no classes due to Nutcracker.

 

NUTCRACKER BOUTIQUE

We will have a DVDA Nutcracker Boutique at the performances where you can purchase flower bouquets or roses for the performers.  There will also be nutcrackers, ornaments, T-shirts, skirts, and many other items available for purchase.

**All costumes are property of DVDA and must be left at the theater to be returned to the studio.

**There is absolutely no eating in costume!

 

 

To clear up confusion as to when in the show your child will perform:

• Pre ballet 2 Bon Bons perform toward the end of Act II

• Ballet 1 Snow Princesses perform toward the end of Act 1, after the Battle Scene

• Ballet 1 Lambs perform in the middle of Act II

• Ballet 2 Jesters perform in the beginning of Act II, after the Angels

• Ballet 3 Soldier Dolls perform in the Party Scene at the beginning of Act 1

• Ballet 4/4X Mice and Soldiers perform in the Battle Scene in the middle of Act 1, following the Party Scene. 4X Polichinelles are in Act II.
